The NEW PCI-Terminal II is an upgrade from the older version of the hardware Point of Service (POS) device currently in use by thousands of submitters.  Many of the limitations that impeded the broad-use of the PCI-Terminal in past years, have been addressed in the new release, including:

o        Allows Connection speeds of up to 56,000 baud (56k modem speeds) versus the older 1,200 baud of the original PCI-Terminal

o        Unlimited PAR Payors available with expanded hard-drive

o        Updates for system (CDT releases; new Payors; specific Payor edits) now centrally distributed - no longer will users need to "schedule" an update

o        Smaller, sleeker box reduces amount of room required

o        Two versions available (regular & larger button version)

o        Very competitive credit card processing capabilities with Bank of America

o        COMING SOON - ability to send claims to ANY Payor in the country (not just PAR Payors)

o        COMING SOON - ability to connect PCI-Terminal II to your existing broadband connection for extremely fast processing

Users continue to receive all of the current benefits the PCI-Terminal provides, including:

o       FREE submission of claims to select Participating Payors

o       Real Time EOB's - within seconds, know patient co-pays, and the finalized claim results (no A/R issues; reduce bad debt and collections)

o        Immediate capturing of deductibles and co-payments as well as Benefit Determination at the time of service for Real-Time Insurance Carriers;

o        Credit Card processing available at attractive rates via magnetic card reader
